In dit kleine huis, gebouwd met een kant in het water, woonde in vroegere tijden de vrouw van de kapitein met haar kinderen gedurende de tijd dat haar man op zee was. Zij hoefde dan niet het grote huis , met haar verzameling porselein en rijk gedecoreerde Hindelooper meubelen en sitsen, schoon te houden. Het Likh\u00fas is een smalle , hoge woning met op iedere verdieping een vertrek, ontbijtkamer (bg) slaapkamer (1e) en badkamer (2e). Het is gesitueerd in het midden van het historische stadje Hindeloopen en geschikt voor een bijzondere overnachting voor 2 personen.<br \/>\nHet hoort bij &#8217;t Hylperhus (voorheen Huis met de Kunst genaamd) waar cursussen, workshops en lezingen over de Friese kunst, cultuur en geschiedenis worden georganiseerd.
